An offer to purchase form is often referred to as an offer to purchase, offer and acceptance or offer to buy agreement.

A real estate offer to purchase is used as the basis for a sales contract.  The terms in the offer to purchase are transferred to the purchase agreement. Includes seller's counteroffer section. Sections include: purchase price, payment terms, financing (full listing of options), escrow, expenses to be paid, extensive list of inclusions / exclusions, contingencies, adjustments, duration, correspondence and preparation of sales contract.
