General Information:
Tennessee warranty deed, TN general warranty deed form, conveys real property with warranty covenants to the buyer. In general, warranty deeds convey property with the following covenants or warranties: covenant of seisin (possession), covenant against encumbrances, covenant of quiet enjoyment and covenant of further assurance. Compare deeds and warranties.
Use a warranty deed to transfer property into or out of a living trust. For transfers without warranties or between family members, use a quitclaim deed.
